New York Times Poll Shows Cockburn Slightly Ahead of Riggleman
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -
A New York Times pollshows a close race in the fight for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District.
The Times spoke with 501 people living in the 5th District. The poll shows Democrat Leslie Cockburn (46%) with a one-percent lead over Republican Denver Riggleman (45%).
Ten-percent of those polled were undecided, and the margin of error is calculated to be plus-or-minus 4.6 percent.
